Hi, you can say that I am in the same boat as you. I want to know
just about everything you want to know.I went to a business school for
networking and the books they gave me are called Networking Basics,
Microsoft Network Essentials, Mircosoft Introduction to TCP/IP
Internetworking and a very thick book called Enchaned A+ Guide for
Managing and Maintained Your PC. You can see if you can find these to
see if that can help you.

I'm student at university of PMF in Skopje, Macedonia. You can find
useful free books at
http://www.maththinking.com/boat/computerbooks.html
If you prefer something useful but a little teoretical I recomend you
" Digital Desing" by Moris Mano.
But my favorite books are "Thinking in C++" and "Thinking in Java"
.Medium level, real basics.
Please recommend me something interesting.
I wish you luck.
