Hi i am new to computers and i want to learn aboutthem. does anyone
know where should i start, i mean teh hardware and how entworks adn
the computer works. Alos i would like to find evyerhting about windows
and how to use to it at tis most. if anyone knows where i can this
information plz tell me by either

Hey there,

It is a good thing that you have started posting to this newsgroup...
However, this newsgroups are itself the best source of information for
any newbie. Although it is a jungle by itself, searching would get you
the necessary information.

Learning about Windows is another thing. If you have bought the comp
from an authorized dealer, he would have supplied you a manual for the
OS you are running. Else, i hate to say it, but http://microsoft.com
is your best option. You could also try searching Google for "Windows
Newbie".

This is also a cool site that i have found for the Newbie user:

For the rest, that site is the start, you could read all the threads
in the newbie section of alt.comp and comp. newsgroups and go ahead
with the wonderful world of computing. :-D. Well all the best
