Technology Purchase Recommendations

As a school technology coordinator, I am responsible for a large part
of the technology purchases our school makes. Often times it involves
technology I am not personally familiar with.

Is there a site/s that focuses on educational technology, where I can
find reviews and recommendations on computers, printers, peripherals
eetc.

It would also be extremely helpful to know what other schools are using
regarding "state of the art" equipment and software.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
